Shanti Switzerland

The Shanti-Switzerland association supports the vocational training of young people from destitute families in Bangladesh. So far, we have set up two schools in which we train 50 pupils every two years to become electricians. As a rule, primary schools in poor countries are well organised. However, only the better-off can afford secondary schools. We want to close this gap.

In this way, we also want to give poor people a chance to escape the vicious circle of poverty.
