Animal Friends Croatia

Animal Friends is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation founded in 2001 with the aim of promoting animal welfare and rights and veganism as an ethical, ecological and healthy lifestyle.

The aim is the abolition of speciesism or any form of abuse, torture and exploitation of animals by humans, respect for animal rights and the realisation of biocentrism and a sustainable way of life for the benefit of all.

In its work to date, Animal Friends has carried out hundreds of campaigns and activities highlighting animal suffering in the food industry, laboratories, fur farms, hunting and fishing industries. The organisation has also educated the public about the problem of abandonment and mistreatment of pets.
