C.A.R.E - Community animals research education

At the C.A.R.E veterinary clinic, animals from the mostly very poor population in and around Victoria Falls are treated free of charge. Dogs, cats, donkeys etc. are vaccinated and treated. As many dogs and cats as possible are neutered to prevent them from reproducing. Donkeys are kept as work animals in Zimbabwe and are often treated very badly. The wounds that the animals get from badly fitting harnesses or ropes often look terrible. C.A.R.E seeks dialogue with the animal owners, treats the animals and provides suitable harnesses for the donkeys.
