Pro Qen Albania

Pro Qen Albania is a non-profit animal welfare organisation based in Graz, Austria. Pro Qen primarily cares for street dogs and cats in Shkoder, Albania. So far, Pro Qen is the only foreign organisation working on the ground in Shkoder. Erza Cermjani and her husband Karl founded the organisation in 2015 because they could no longer stand by and watch innocent animals suffer needlessly as a result of human, legal and institutional failures. ProQen's main tasks are neutering, awareness-raising, responsible pet ownership and rehoming.
