The Förderverein Arche Noah Kreta e.V. is a veterinary orientated animal welfare association that focuses on neutering street animals. The team consists of several vets and helpers who carry out neutering campaigns internationally.
The main locations are currently in Greece, with a focus on Crete, in Romania and on the Cape Verde islands. We carry out more than 13,000 operations on street animals every year. This enables us to save countless puppies from an unworthy, miserable life or a cruel death on the streets.
Every street animal receives the medical care it needs. For example, every animal is dewormed and treated against ectoparasites when it is neutered. If further operations are required, these are carried out: The removal of umbilical hernias, amputations, treatment of wounds, dental restoration, etc. are part of our everyday routine. Seriously injured animals remain in our care until they are healthy again. Even if this requires care over a long period of time: Everyone gets a chance at a better life!
