VKWS Verein der Katzenfreunde Werdenberg Sarganserland

The VKWS is a non-profit organisation where all members work on a voluntary basis. In Buchs, the association runs 2 rescue centres for cats where the cats can stay until a good new home is found. The rescue centres also take in cats from animal welfare cases and official confiscations. The VKWS also runs a shelter for old, disabled and unadoptable cats. The organisation is also actively involved in neutering stray cats and farm cats.
